Dear friends of environmentally conscious sports and sustainable mobility,
Last year we had the extraordinary opportunity to contribute to the Berlin-Brandenburg Beach Volleyball Tour – in an environmentally friendly and practical way. How did we manage that?
Well, with a cargo bike of course – equipped with a MORE Cargobox .
Martin Henske from the Berlin-Brandenburg Volleyball Association writes:
The Riese & Müller Load 75 with the MORE Cargobox proved to be the perfect means of transport for getting to the numerous tournaments of the Beach Volleyball Tour Berlin, safely and efficiently carrying all the necessary equipment. But what made this cargo bike so special?
1. Environmental friendliness: With the cargo bike, we are sending a clear message in support of sustainability and environmental protection. Instead of using a fuel-guzzling van, we consciously opted for an environmentally friendly alternative. The cargo bike produces no harmful emissions and thus actively contributes to environmental protection.
2. Practicality: The MORE Cargobox offers ample space for all the equipment and materials needed for beach volleyball tournaments. From scoreboards and game schedules to balls, trophies, and prizes – everything could be transported safely and conveniently in the Cargobox. And the best part? Thanks to the maneuverability and flexibility of the cargo bike, we were able to ride right up to the pitch, which meant a huge time saving!
3. Sense of community: By using a cargo bike, we not only created a practical transport solution, but also a sense of community. The cargo bike was not just a means of transport, but a symbol of cooperation and environmentally conscious action. It encouraged others to also reflect on their transport habits and find alternative, sustainable solutions.
The Berlin-Brandenburg Beach Volleyball Tour was a resounding success, and we are proud to have contributed a small part to it. With the cargo bike and the MORE Cargobox, we demonstrated that sustainability and practicality can go hand in hand – and that small changes can have a big impact.
Let us continue to act in an environmentally conscious manner and support sustainable solutions so that future generations can also enjoy the beauty of our planet.
Warm greetings and safe travels ahead!
