We are pleased to present our latest project:
The oyster bike.
Based on the Riese & Müller Load4 75 Rohloff, we have developed a unique bicycle , created through creative input and close collaboration with our customer Johannes King .
The base: Riese & Müller Load4 Rohloff
Our starting point was the Riese & Müller Load4 Rohloff , known for its high-quality workmanship and first-class technology : electronic shifting, full suspension, high and brake lights and much more.
The Load 75 stands for riding fun and comfort like no other cargo bike!
This provided the perfect foundation for the project.
The IDIT structure
On this foundation, we built our IDIT body from the limited silver-metallic edition. The premium IDIT body comes with a fiberglass-reinforced plastic body, a hand-welded additional frame structure, interior lighting , and much more.

Individual adjustments in detail
From the very beginning, we maintained close communication with our customer to ensure that the final product met their high expectations.

Focus on design, functionality and driving characteristics
Throughout the entire development process, three aspects were always paramount: design, individualization, and outstanding driving characteristics.
- Individualization:
- A table that can be operated with an easy-to-use swivel and folding mechanism; the table legs lock automatically and securely. This allows the wheel to be operated easily and professionally, even in front of guests.
- Many compartments for cutlery and dishes, for dry and chilled goods
- No rattling!
- A SONOS Bluetooth speaker with Fidlock mount
- High-quality logo engravings
- Design: We were able to almost completely preserve the aesthetic appearance of the Load4 with IDIT and integrate the table into the overall design. This involved, among other things, incorporating the shape of the frame into the table.
- Riding characteristics: The Load4 75 rides very comfortably and safely, even when fully loaded. We've fitted a comfort handlebar with special grips, ensuring the bike remains safe even with a heavy load.
Our goal was to build an oyster bike that not only impresses visually, but also convinces with its performance.
The following photos show the development phase, delivery, and the final product. Images that tell the story of a unique project:

Our conclusion
The Oyster Bike is more than just a bicycle; it's a testament to the art of individualization and the power of collaboration. We are proud of the result and delighted that it has been so warmly received by Johannes King and his guests.
