An interview with our customer Paul Puffer from KiezPhysio Berlin
In a conversation with one of our customers, who uses a custom-made Riese & Müller Load 75 with MORE Cargobox for his work as a physiotherapist at KiezPhysio Berlin, we gained interesting insights into his daily work and the advantages of his physiobike.
We thank Paul for his trust and are very pleased that we were able to accompany him on his path to self-employment.
Sequence
After selecting the right cargo bike and configuring it together, we modified the MORE Cargobox according to Paul's wishes and tailored it precisely to the requirements of mobile physiotherapy . Among other things, we were able to implement a special lashing strap holder for a treatment table , interior lighting, and a large-area custom wrap .
In addition, modifications were made to the Riese & Müller Load 75, such as an additional splash guard and keyed-alike locks.
The time from idea to delivery for such a project is approximately 4-8 weeks .
Daily use and trademark
Paul appreciates the flexibility and mobility that the cargo bike offers him. He can reach his patients directly and is also physically active at the same time – a win-win situation for him and his patients.
"I use the cargo bike daily to get to my patients. I transport everything I need for therapy with it – including the treatment table! The bike is my mobile practice and the trademark of KiezPhysio Berlin. Thanks to my physiobike, I stay physically active between appointments and automatically spend most of the day outdoors . It's a particularly nice workday, especially now in the summer!"
Comfort and special features
"The model (a Riese & Müller Load 75 Vario - editor's note) is very comfortable , and the dual battery makes longer distances easy to cover. The most helpful feature is the MORE Cargobox with its special strap mount for my recumbent bike. Without this feature, my work by bicycle would be impossible!"
He also highlights the interior lighting , which he believes should definitely be standard. These small but important details make the cargo bike an indispensable companion in his daily work routine. Another feature: one key for everything – battery, lock, box!
Cost savings and environmental friendliness
"By using a bicycle , I save a lot of money . Compared to a car , I save on the purchase price, maintenance (fuel, tax, insurance, etc.) and time . I can get through Berlin's city traffic much faster by bicycle and can also flexibly take shorter routes (e.g. shortcuts through Tempelhofer Feld) and thus, if necessary, treat more patients than without a bicycle."
Using a cargo bike is not only economically sensible, but also environmentally friendly. Zero CO2 emissions and the ability to serve more patients make the cargo bike a sustainable and efficient solution for mobile physiotherapists.
