Our Riese & Müller cargo bikes as sustainable film partners

At MORE Cargobike, we know that a good cargo bike is not only unbeatable in everyday use – it also looks great in the spotlight. That is why we are delighted to have supported the filming of the new tragicomedy "Der große Zusammenbruch" (The Great Collapse) by Tilman König in Leipzig with our bikes.

We provided the film crew with:
• 2x Riese & Müller Load 75 vario
• 1x Riese & Müller Multitinker vario

This allowed the production company to move camera equipment, props, and accessories around the set efficiently, quietly, and emission-free. Especially in narrow streets and backyards, the cargo bikes proved to be the perfect alternative to cars – agile, flexible, and ready for use at a moment's notice.

Sustainability meets film technology

The film production is consciously opting for environmentally friendly solutions. Together with strong technical partners such as Sony, Ludwig Kameraverleih, and MORE Cargobike, a new standard has been set: climate-friendly mobility behind the camera as well. Our cargo bikes not only made the work easier but also made the vision of a sustainable film set visible.

The keyword is: #greenfilmmaking – fewer emissions, more efficiency, and smart solutions for modern film technology.

About the models used

• Riese & Müller Load 75: Full suspension, extremely resilient (permissible total weight up to 200 kg), and with plenty of room for large transport tasks – the first choice for professionals on set.
• Riese & Müller Multitinker: Compact, but a real powerhouse. Up to 200 kg total weight, comfortable for riders, and ideal when things get tight in the city.

Conclusion

Whether in everyday life, on the job, or on a film set – Riese & Müller cargo bikes are versatile, robust, and ready to break new ground. We are proud to be part of this exciting project and are already looking forward to the theatrical release of "Der große Zusammenbruch" in 2026.
